M.Ed (Quality Management), B.Bus (Accountancy), Certificate in Business (Accountancy), Diploma of Training & Assessment, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Diploma of Frontline Management, Diploma of Secretarial Studies, Grad Dip Social Ecology Ms Carmel Thompson is a qualified Accountant. She has had considerable experience in the local and international marketplace. In 2003, she undertook a project to assist the Jamaican Government to implement a vocational education and training system which would meet international standards and assisted with the professional development of their training staff to meet these standards. This project is ongoing and will continue for some time into the future. She has also provided training and educational systems development in U.K., U.S.A., Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Carmel is a highly respected trainer specialising in Leadership Programs, Frontline Management and Workplace Trainer Courses. She has served on numerous State and National committees in Australia. She has undertaken a number of international projects in Jamaica, New Guinea and South East Asia. She is also a much sort after speaker at national and international conferences focusing on Leadership in Education, Global Partnerships and Education as a Business. Carmel’s credibility as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Consultant, Business Consultant and trainer is enhanced by her business credentials, reputation and experience.
